Our Safari Adventure at Kruger! 
We spent 5 days in mid-July at the Mvuradona
Game Lodge located in Marloth
Park, just outside the Kruger National Park.
Day 1: Most of the crew visited the Matsamo
Cultural Village and then went on a game drive in Lionspruit, a
private game reserve.
Day 2: On
safari. The whole crew experienced the wildlife in Kruger - 13
people and two converted land Rovers. Want to see our some of our favorites
animals? Or perhaps some birds?
Day 3: Half the crew went on another
safari, and half stayed behind and explored Marloth
Park.
Day 4: Half the crew went on another
safari and saw the last of the big
five, Barbara and Steve visited Maputu, the capital of Mozambique, and Bill
and Yannis stayed behind with the sick kids.
Day 5: Return to Jo-burg. Beldens
caught a flight to Atlanta. Steve had a flat and had a run in with an ATM
machine. Tasha lost her glasses, which Andrew found - necessitating a
rondevous in Melanane. That evening Steve had arranged a Harry Potter
experience for the kids!
People who come to Kruger are generally in search of
the Big Five: lion, leopard, buffalo, elephant, white rhino. We saw all of
